Our Mission

At The Homeschool Bookstore, our goal is to be able to offer curriculum, new and used, for families to look through to help them find what meets your kiddos learning style and what works for you teaching them as well.  We will offer a consignment side which will allow you to earn money on what you no longer use and to save money by purchasing used.  We will have new and used children's books, Stem Projects, Educational toys and games.  

Our family moved to Ohio in 2023, for my husband's job.  Moving here from the Raleigh area of NC, in which we have lived most of our life, was a really big move for our family. We ended up really loving it up here and the friends we have made.  I have been homeschooling for years, my oldest daughter through her middle school years and she is now in her last year of college.  My youngest two are still being homeschooled now.  I am by no means an expert, but I do have a lot of trial-and-error experience.  When I started my homeschool journey, I was blessed enough to have a homeschool store in Raleigh I could go to for guidance and to be able to look through options.  When I decided to open a Homeschool store here, I called them and they were so kind to help me with guidance on how to get started.  I will be starting out small, but my goal is to grow to better be able to serve the homeschool community that has exploded in this area.

Our goal is to be able to serve the homeschool community in Ohio.  Although we will not be selling online right now, you are free to call or email us what you are looking for, and we are happy to ship it to you if it we have it.  I will be posting our consignment curriculum on here and social media, so you can stay up to date with what we have.  We are offering activities on Saturdays for our local community to be able to participate and have fun.  Check out our avitivity and classes page, for more info.
